Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Germany's main indicators increased by 24.3% compared to 2021, reaching 10.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.6%.

Germany ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 43.3% (from 7.0% in 2017).
