Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Belgium's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 16.7% compared to 2017, reaching 6.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.4%.

Belgium ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 30.2% (from 8.6% in 2013).
