Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2017, Bulgaria's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 25.1% compared to 2016, reaching 40,947.

Bulgaria ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.9% (from 44,462 in 2012).
