Population structure indicators at national level

In 2007, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.4% compared to 2006, reaching 28.1.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 27.9.

Bulgaria ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 27.7 in 2002).
