Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2007, reaching 28.3.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Bulgaria ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.8% (from 27.8 in 2003).
