Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2007, reaching 33.2.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.3% (from 28.3 in 2003).
