Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Bulgaria's main indicators decreased by 2.4% compared to 2013, reaching 5.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Bulgaria ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 425.8% (from 1.1% in 2009).
