At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.8% compared to 2020, reaching 17.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Croatia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.2% (from 20.4% in 2016).
