At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 20.3% compared to 2020, reaching 27.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Luxembourg ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.4% (from 21.0% in 2016).
