At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.0% compared to 2022, reaching 21.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.9% (from 20.4% in 2018).
