At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.0% compared to 2022, reaching 20.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Luxembourg ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.9% (from 18.0% in 2018).
