At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 2022, reaching 25.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.9% (from 25.8% in 2018).
