At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.7% compared to 2023, reaching 22.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.0% (from 19.3% in 2019).
