In 2016, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 6.0% compared to 2015, reaching 12,739.

Croatia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.0% (from 15,929 in 2011).
