In 2021, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.0% compared to 2020, reaching 7,594.

Croatia ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.8% (from 12,403 in 2016).
