At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 12.5% compared to 2023, reaching 12.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Cyprus ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 34.4% (from 19.2% in 2019).
