At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 2024, reaching 12.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.0% (from 16.7% in 2020).
