At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.5% compared to 2024, reaching 13.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 13.5% in 2020).
