Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2016, Cyprus's population change decreased by 7.4% compared to 2015, reaching 6.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Cyprus ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.1% (from 6.5 in 2011).
