Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2017, Cyprus's population change increased by 9.5% compared to 2016, reaching 6.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.5.

Cyprus ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 6.6 in 2012).
