Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Cyprus's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.3% compared to 2023, reaching 80.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.3%.

Cyprus ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.0% (from 76.5% in 2019).
