Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Cyprus's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.5% compared to 2024, reaching 81.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Cyprus ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 76.6% in 2020).
