Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1996, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.9% compared to 1995, reaching 77.5.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.2% (from 75.8 in 1991).
