Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1997, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.1% compared to 1996, reaching 77.6.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 76.3 in 1992).
