Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1996, Czechia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 1.0% compared to 1995, reaching 70.4.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 68.2 in 1991).
