Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2020, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 5.4% compared to 2019, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.4%.

Czechia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 14.1% in 2015).
