Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 3.5% compared to 2023, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 25.2%.

Czechia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.3% (from 16.2% in 2019).
