Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 0.5% compared to 2022, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Slovakia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.3% (from 15.8% in 2018).
