At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2018, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.4% compared to 2017, reaching 12.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Denmark ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.5% (from 11.8% in 2013).
