At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.3% compared to 2018, reaching 12.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.2%.

Denmark ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.9% (from 11.8% in 2014).
