In 2022, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 17.6% compared to 2021, reaching 146,613.

Denmark ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 31.5% (from 213,924 in 2017).
