Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Denmark's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.9% compared to 2020, reaching 5.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Denmark ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.0% (from 6.0% in 2016).
