Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 6.2% compared to 2020, reaching 7.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Latvia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.6% (from 9.7% in 2016).
