Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Greece's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 16.5% compared to 2020, reaching 14.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Greece ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.5% (from 23.9% in 2016).
