Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Denmark's unemployment by sex and age increased by 8.5% compared to 2022, reaching 11.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Denmark ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 10.5% in 2018).
