At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.5% compared to 2022, reaching 46.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 46.3% in 2018).
