At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 15.8% compared to 2023, reaching 39.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Estonia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.8% (from 43.7% in 2019).
