At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.7% compared to 2023, reaching 17.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Estonia ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.8% (from 19.3% in 2019).
