Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Estonia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 16.7% compared to 2018, reaching 4.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Estonia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.4% (from 7.3% in 2014).
