At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.1% compared to 2021, reaching 12.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.6%.

Finland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 11.5% in 2017).
