In 2019, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 1.6% compared to 2018, reaching 329,054.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.6% (from 399,432 in 2014).
