In 2018, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 2.5% compared to 2017, reaching 118,193.

Finland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.9% (from 137,219 in 2013).
