Fertility indicators

In 1978, Finland's fertility indicators decreased by 2.4% compared to 1977, reaching 1.64.

Finland ranks 16th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 1.49 in 1973).
