Fertility indicators

In 1983, Finland's fertility indicators increased by 1.8% compared to 1982, reaching 1.74.

Finland ranks 14th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 1.64 in 1978).
