Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Finland's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.9% compared to 2015, reaching 20.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Finland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 20.3% in 2011).
