Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Greece's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 4.2% compared to 2015, reaching 48.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Greece ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 45.2% in 2011).
