At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.4% compared to 2022, reaching 17.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Greece ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 51.7% (from 11.6% in 2018).
