Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Greece's main indicators decreased by 1.9% compared to 2015, reaching 15.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.0%.

Greece ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.0% (from 11.2% in 2011).
