Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2014, Greece's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 35.3% compared to 2013, reaching 1.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Greece ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.3% (from 1.1% in 2009).
