Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 15.5% compared to 2015, reaching 23.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Slovakia ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.8% (from 34.8% in 2011).
